| Dr. Chris Schell
Optometrist
Chris attended the University of Waterloo where he earned
a Bachelor of Science degree with Honours. He then went on
to pursue his Doctor of Optometry degree from Waterloo and
graduated on the Dean’s Honour List.
In 2003 Dr. Schell started practicing optometry in Barrie
and March 1, 2010 he opened his own vision care clinic. He
loves teaching his patients about their vision and eye health.
Dr. Schell is passionate about vision therapy, its power
and possibilities are endless. Dr. Schell is a proud member
of the College of Optometrists in Vision Development and Optometric
Extension Program Foundation. These two groups focus on educating
practitioners and providing the resources to implement vision
therapy into their clinics.
Dr. Schell is happily married and has two amazing young boys.
They love being active. Spending time with family and friends
keeps them busy. Dr. Schell loves curling during the winter
and golfing in the summer.

Tara Brox
Optometric Assistant
Tara Brox began her career in vision care in 1996 working
as a frame consultant, lab technician, special events organizer
and as a corporate sales representative.
In 2003, Tara and her husband, Howie, began their happy family
and she became most active as a homemaker having two wonderful
girls. In 2010 Tara returned to the rewarding optical profession
as an optometric assistant for Dr. Chris Schell.
Tara is a vocalist and recording artist and can be found
performing at various venues and stages. Tara is passionate
about health, fitness and healing and believes in the potential
of vision therapy to restore and improve the gift of sight.

Linda MacArthur
Optician
After 17 years at Honda of Canada in Alliston, Linda decided
to return to school and graduated with honours in the Opticianry
program at Georgian College in 2011. She is the recipient
of the J.W. Arden award for academic excellence in Ophthalmic
Optics.
Linda is a member of the College of Opticians of Ontario,
and has a special interest in contact lenses, with emphasis
on teaching and educating patients about wear and care.
Linda and her husband Brad have two teenage boys, and are
very busy hockey parents.

Stacey Stephens
Optician
Stacey graduated from the University of Guelph in 2003 with
a Bachelor of Science degree. She furthered her education
by graduating with Honours in Opticianry at Georgian College.
Stacey is a member of the College of Opticians of Ontario
which is dedicated to the delivery of high quality, safe and
ethical care to the public. She takes great pride in honouring
these qualities to her clientele, while offering patient-specific
advice through accuracy in measurability.
Stacey has loved horses since she was a young child. She
has competed in numerous hunter and jumper events. Although
she is no longer competitive, she remains involved with horses
and riding as a hobby.
Stacey is a newlywed as of August 2011.

Kelly Wabrik
Optician
Kelly graduated with Honours in the Opticianry Program at
Georgian College in 2005. She was the recipient of the CIBA
Vision Award of Excellence and is currently a member of the
College of Opticians of Ontario (COO), Ontario Opticians Association
(OOA) and Opticians Association of Canada (OAC). She is a
past Director of the Ontario Opticians Association.
During her time at Georgian College she was the class representative
at the Advisory Board meetings and continues today as an Alumni
member with the Advisory to stay connected to the Optician
program in it’s new home at Georgian’s Sadlon
Centre for Health and Wellness.
Kelly believes a Licensed Optician is a “vision architect”
balancing your technical needs and sense of fashion so you
see with both confidence and style.
Kelly enjoys weight training, hot yoga, art and eating organic
in her spare time.
